I don’t like I don’t usually like compromising on quality. It doesn’t it doesn’t matter how much you pay me the quality of my work. If I make a dress I can proudly say that if I make if I make a dress for you for you, it is different from what the average.
I’m thinking of the third party the person I don’t know that would see it so for me everything I make.
Is a statement outside. it’s a form of advertisement for me outside. So what I do is to is to make sure that my client is putting something that wold want people to be glued to
Well personal number for what? I do to need my customers satisfied. I don’t compromise on my quality.
What are those things you do to impress your customers?

Ahhhm what I have done, one of the ways ive been to impress my customers is packaging
I don’t just take my finished project, wrap them up in any nylon I find and just give them to my customer. So ive actually been able to do that. I remember there was a time I went to give a customer their dress in a kinda of place, a market where she is a saloonist. She is a hair dresser.
So when I get there the customer was really impressed by my packaging. Packing is of the ways i’ve used to impress my customers the way I package their dresses even if im making a bow tie apron no matter how small. I package it neatly it.
What are the ones you do to make sure they are satisfied, but they don’t even know?
Jefenzer Fashion House said;
“Outsourcing and research. Nobody knows it all, I do small research and questioning from more experienced tailors to ensure their outfits comes out better because I put customer’s satisfaction over profit.”
AGM Clothing noted that;
“Packaging and home delivery.”
Alan’s cut said;
“I spend extra money on their style just to satisfy them, because their satisfaction is my fulfillment not the money actually.”
Lady Q Apparel said;
Lady Q. Apparel: 07030496757
“Ok Most times when their fabric is not up to what they want to make as a style and have a matching material I would use it without bills.”
Dahlia’s Wear said;

“I give them discount and putting expensive accessory in the clothes.”
What are the major challenges facing Nigerian tailors or you precisely?
Jefenzer Fashion House noted;
“Funds, recognition, appreciation, electricity, technology advancement,”
AGM Clothing said that;
AGM Clothing: 08165350571“Power supply and market proximity.”
Alan’s cut said;
“The challenges we are facing is people are not willing to pay for a good work and some other tailors who do not know d value of their work bastardize it.”
Lady Q Apparel said;
I might really not know the major challenges tailors are facing in Nigeria but then, I know light is one of them, because, as a tailor or fashion designer, you need light 24/7
Dahlia’s Wear said;
“For me, it’s good machine and sewing accessories.”
Johnbest Fashion Line said;
“The challenges we’re facing here in Nigeria is light, when there is no light you have to use generator, and the prizes are different wen sowing a dress. If am making a dress for 7k with light, when it comes to generator it has to be 10k to 11k, because it takes days to sow a cloth.”
GBozz Couture said;
challenges challenges challenges yet prices, you know cost of production keep getting high while the customers not want to increase the money they pay
then sewing for friends and family. Some of them feel you owe them to make something for them without paying for it
Then power is a major issue, when there is no power outpit is slow you know it slows down production.
Finances there are so many machines I would like to have but I cannot have them because I do not have the finance to get them. These machines are usually over a 100,000
Access to loans and the type of interest on those loans,
Do you think there are possible solutions?
Jefenzer Fashion House said;
“People should give value to the fashion industry we are responsible for covering the world’s nakedness. A typical girl appreciates her hair stylist more than her tailor I still don’t know why. Nigeria is not technological advanced we do things manually most of the time. International fashion brands have tools and machines that aids production and quality than us. Fashion should be taught as a course in schools, Talents should be encouraged in the educational system, in fact the Government has a high part to play in the solutions to these problems we face.”
AGM Clothing stated that;
“As regard power supply …hmmm this is Nigeria, we can only look up to our Govt. for solution. Pertaining to the latter, the solution is having retailers with various kind of fabric around our work place.”
Alan’s cut said;
Alan’s Cut: 08163562667
“People should be firm when charging a customer for a good work, so that they don’t end up using inferior materials for customers. The government should also encourage young tailors by giving them funds to buy enough materials to make their work neat and outstanding. A good tailor should never stop learning; use the internet to learn the trending styles. be a digital tailor.”
Lady Q Apparel said;
“Government should make provision for 24 hours electricity.”
Dahlia’s Wear said;
Dahlia’s Wear: 09038385143
“Those selling the accessories should make it affordable.”
Johnbest Fashion Line said;
“You know light has been the major problem in this country, it is left for the government. Anyways we’ve been having constant light now on like before but the bills are just something else.”

Yes. If there is a way to get loans on low interest rates for a period of five years it would be very good way to help solve this problem.
If Nigerian power situation will improve it would be one of the ways to help the situation.
If you can make sure you put it to family and friends that your business will strive when friends and family decide to support you and pay
